Questions for people testing alphas, have you noticed that a lot of games don't work since the BGA update?

Post by Askeladdd »

I've been trying a lot of the games that i used to play before, but they just can't seem to load/start.
I believe it had something to do with the new website update, that broke a lot of alphas.
Is there anyone who can fix this or maybe know more about it?

Here's some games that worked before but now you can't start/play anymore, just to name a few:

Railroad Ink Challenge,
Please fix the teleporter,
Exhibition 20th Cenury,
Snow Time,
Wazabi,
Martian Chess,
Gravity Superstar,
Voyagers,
Boomerang

They are dead anyway: the developer has left the building.

I didn’t have it before any update but I joined and already first 3 I tried don’t work at all. I’m not sure why there are on here if as the previous post says ‘developer has left the building’. I find it strange that the report fo4 one about it not working has been there for 30 days with no action.

Railroad Ink Challenge wasn't working at all when I tried it at the beginning of the year. The developer on it left ages ago.

We're considering picking it up. If we do, it'll be a complete rewrite of what's there.

I've read that before but I tried to start a game and it worked for me, so I thought it was a false alarm.

Yes, since that update, Mantis Falls has been entirely broken. Action cards don't deploy anymore, meaning the players can't actually interact with the game. I really hope it's fixed. I know it could be unlikely with the slow development on that particular game, but being able to play it at all is a lot better than nothing to me.

seconded for maths falls - was enjoying it (with just the odd bug) but then everything stopped working.
