Sugar Requirements

Most recipes have a minimum sugar requirement, for example Cachaca requires 1+ Plant Sugar. Should I only need 1 Plant Sugar, 1 yeast, and 1 water to distill, or do I need 2 sugars with the yeast and water?

You can make cachaca with just 1 plant sugar, 1 yeast , and 1 water. However, when 2 cards get removed, you have a 50/50 chance of losing your plant sugar and making moonshine. 2 plant sugars reduces this risk significantly, and having 3 plant sugars when you start your distill guarantees that you can make cachaca.
