Dice Randomization issue

Post by lapigia »

Good day,

i've been playing Seasons for a long time with hundreds of games done and this is more than just a doubt. I'm 100% sure, and many other players I faced agree, that GREEN is by far the less available colour. I'm sure the dice randomization regarding green is flawed and i've witnessed a huge amount of games where green doesn't show up at all for the first year or even 2 years. Not a single dice. And when it does it is often 1 or 2 dices in with mixed energy and no stars. Double green + stars is something that you see no more than 1 or 2 times per game, while you drown in blue e red mana.
Never had to use the bonus action so many times as to get some green mana at all.

Anyone else there supporting my me?

Thanks for reading, see you in game :)

Hello,
It's normal to get less green during the first season since the rarest season is the following one, I even believe that no dice have the next season color.
When you arrive at the second season, green is the most probable color, but you will have in stock lots of blues, and some red. And so you need one or two more turns to have green be more commun.
I feel like cognitive biais can totally explain that, but that's a really weird and interesting take.

Have you checked is green is less commun in the dice or more commun in the cards, or more commun in the cards usually put for age 1?

I did some stats with 5000*6randoms rolls. In average:
- you will get 1,37 turns in the blue season on the first age
- and you will get 1,48 turns in the green season on the first age (and I suppose that should be identical for others seaons)

I wanted to use that to explain why green looked rarer but I find the opposite, and with more thinking that make sense: you have more chance to hit the 4th spot (at least 1/3, regularly more) than the 1st post (1/3).
