Expansion event tiles

I own the physical copy along with the expansion Trade & Intrigue, and while looking at the Harvest Event's description it stated A, B and C, which I believe were done with the expansion (the base game used 6 sets of 3 events, each event in a set being the same). Since it seems whoever created this used some expansion materials, can we expect game options to play using base game events? Also will the other expansion events be added later as well?

Only base game components were used. The event tiles got updated in later printings. This adaptation uses the latest printing components and rules.

Regarding the expansion, this all depends on the popularity of the game once released. Also BGA and the publisher must give approvals.

I see. My version the base game all three Harvest were all the same, and the A B C D sets were only in the expansion. Thanks for clearing that up.

A possibility to consider during the beta. If I'm understanding things right, Race for the Galaxy has the option to use promotional cards that later sets of Race for the Galaxy included in the base game. As the developer has stated already in this topic, the events used for Orleans on BGA are for a later printing, and he sent me a link for BoardGameGeek that explained the improvement. As a consideration, perhaps include an option for essentially "easy mode" option that uses the pre-update events (custom, not default) that uses classic events similar to the option to exclude New Worlds in RFTG.
