SOLVED: Android floating Window xiaomi

Dear players / admins

I was hoping someone could help me, since a few months when i get a notification its my turn to play or when i want to start the app, it always opens the app and then a seperate smaller browserwindow. I have to manually maximize the window and its starting to anoy me more and more.

I've disable picture in picture mode on both browser and BGA app but that doesnt help, if i create a direct shortcut of the BGA website as an icon it does immediately open correct, but then i cant use the popup of BGA to go to a game. Ive tried looking for settings in BGA and in Brave but can't seem to find a reason for this happening and how to fix it.

Also related to this problem is: the app closes as soon as i open anything else and then try to return to BGA screen. However, if i open other apps and dont return the window of a BGA game then the sound of the board game and everything still plays correctly. It closes as soon as i try to open the BGA window again

Im on a Xiaomi 13 (Android) with latest software update,
BGA is up to date, i use brave browser

Anyone has any idea how to fix this problem?

My guess would be that your app/browser is configured in floating windows mode, and reopening it automatically reactivates floating windows.
When it is

On my phone, dragging the bar at the bottom of the window, to the bottom of the screen, makes the floating window fullscreen again.

The term floating Window was what i was looking for, not picture in picture.

I can resize the floating Window to full screen, that is not the problem. The problem is that i want it to start full screen and not in a floating Window, and i now have to manually make it full screen every time.

SOLVED IT!

have to go to settings > additional settings > special features > then select sidebar and disable it for BGA app. It now launches full screen
