BGA is hiring: new Game Developement Manager

Thanks to the trust of publishers and our amazing developer community, that includes both volunteers and freelancers, more and more game adaptations are being developed and released.

We're now looking for a new Game Studio Manager for Board Game Arena!

Your job is mainly to take care games under development and collaborate with game developers to ensure their games can be released and enjoyed by the entire BGA community.
You will also provide first-level support to developers when needed, throughout the multiple steps of their projects: from alpha to release, including dealing with licenses.

As part of the team, you'll be the central point of contact for the BGA studio.

Your missions:
  • Monitor the development of community and freelance games (verify licenses and prepare assets);
  • Organize the activities of freelance developers: publish upcoming projects, collect and validate quotes, and prepare contracts;
  • Manage the game release process: alpha, beta, release, and maintenance;
  • Provide first-level support for the developer community;
  • Monitor existing games on the platform: identify major issues and dedicated solutions;
  • Prepare release calendar reviews;
  • Actively participate in monitoring the developer community (Discord, forums, etc.);
  • Organize in-house game review sessions: communicate and ensure that essential or major feedback is addressed.
Your profile:
  • With a solid knowledge of project management and coordination, you have over 2 years' experience in this field.
  • You have an excellent level of English (as you will be working in an international team).
  • Ability to adapt to multiple partners, publishers or our many passionate developers around the world.
  • Your interpersonal skills, listening ability, rigor, and commitment will be key to your success in this position.
  • Technical knowledge, such as Linux environment and our existing studio, is appreciated.
