It’s a shame BGA isn’t more transparent about these problems given they claim that this exactly would be their philosophy. From the server status page:

Having a gaming service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is not something easy to achieve for a (very) small team like ours. In addition, BGA is a realtime service, and any service outage may ruins games in progress.
Our philosophy is to be transparent on service outages, by explaining why it happens, what has been impacted (and how long), and what we did to make sure it won't happen again. Explaining all of this is the goal of this page.

Additionally there wasn’t any mention of problems on their twitter/X feed in the last months even though according to there own publicly displayed data there was at least one total outage in September and several minor "hiccups" like yesterday. Transparency FTW!

We have been aware of that for the past two weeks, primarily on Sunday and Monday evenings (CET), and we are actively looking into it. Sadly, this typically lasts for 20 to 25 minutes, and by the time we find out, it's too late to issue a warning or send out a notification on Twitter or X.
