There are some situations that don't seem to be fully covered in the Arena scoring rules. In early season play, some players play a lot of games at the same time and rapidly rise through the leagues. By the end of a slow, turn-based game, opponents could potentially be 4 leagues apart.
If an Elite beats a Bronze, does the Bronze just lose 0? It would seem odd to lose -1 (gain 1?) as the rules seem to suggest.
The FAQ doesn't explain how fractions are handled. They seem to be rounded. It looks like someone who gains 3.5 arena points in lower leagues would actually gain 4 points. In lower leagues, I'm assuming it doesn't internally track the fractions like it seems to do with ELO and EAS.
Would someone who gains 3.333 points (e.g. player wins a 4p game against two same-league and one next-higher-league) or (3+3+4)/3 be rounded up or down?
On the negative side, what happens if a player ends up 2nd in a 3p game where 1st place is a league below and last place is in same league [(2-3)/2 = -0.5 ]? Would that get rounded to 0 or -1?
Thanks in advance!
