Suggestion: Visible opponents' cards mode.

Post by Barberserk »

I have played enough of Cubird to start coming up with variation ideas, and I believe this is one worth trying. What if you could see every opponent's cards, their whole hand, instead of only yours. I admit I have not playtested that, it would be tricky, but perhaps somebody can try it, if they have the game in real life for example, and see if this idea has merit? This mode could put a lot more weight on strategy rather than luck, during a game, some people prefer that, I believe.

It's true that there's a fair amount of luck in Cubirds, but there's also an element of bluffing, and this would remove that.

Wow, this is an amazing concept for BGA to consider. Not just Cubirds, but all games.

I would add that careful attention and watching the game progression helps with understanding what an opponent has and what they're trying to accomplish.

BGA works at the mercy of the publishers. Publishers get to choose if they want to allow any house rules.
