How to use Homekeeper card?

How to use Homekeeper card?

I tried to "wish for child" after playing homekeeper and setting up a room next to a pasture and a field, but the interface is not allowing it. I have no other rooms with two people. Do I need to sow the field first? It doesn't say so on the card.

Are you in clay or stone house already? It is another requirement of it.
