Christmas / Holiday Themed Games or Expansions

Post by Storm of Crow »

I'm looking for ideas or suggestions for games on BGA with a holiday / Christmas / or winter theme.

Sadly, I noticed there weren't too many horror games for Halloween on here and I'm guessing there are even less with a holiday/Christmas theme, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there's a game with some kind of winter or holiday theme I don't know about. Or an expansion. Any suggestions are welcome.

Arctic Scavengers has a winter theme, though isn't really in keeping with the holiday spirit. ;)

Welcome To has a Christmas Lights variant.

OP seemed to be wondering why there wasn’t more Christian themed holiday games. I was pointing out that probably many developers aren’t Christian. That would be a good reason for not creating Christian versions of their games. Sometimes it is hard for Christians to realize not everybody is one of them and not everybody celebrates Christmas

Hey JoysJoy, maybe reread the original post because I think you severely misread or misinterpreted it. First of all, I used the word "holiday" as often or more than Christmas and even included winter for my theme. Second, I am not, nor have I ever been Christian so the last thing I would ever do is wonder why there aren't more Christian games on here. Third, well, I had a litany about how Christianity stole most of its traditions from Paganism and yet you don't say the OP was wondering why there weren't more pagan games, but there are plenty so I'm satisfied. Also, the OP mentions Halloween and I'd bet many hardcore Christians don't celebrate that holiday and it's my favorite. So how about this -- if you don't have any suggestions for games, which is all I was asking, maybe don't reply rather than make assumptions.
