Questions about how to make a deck on the official website

Post by yet888 »

Do I need to scan the QR code of real cards before I can use those cards to make a deck?
Why does my deck only have one card family (Lyra), but it still appears to be illegal?
What is Global Validity?
My English is very poor, so sorry for using machine translation.

Yes, you need to own as many digital copies of every card as you put in your deck in the rarities you are using. If you have 3 rare Anansi in your deck, you need to own 3 rare Anansi.

I couldn't tell you that without seeing your deck list but you need to make sure your deck meets all the deckbuilding requirements:

(1) All cards owned -- As stated above, you must own every card in your deck, and you must own as many copies as you are using in the rarities you are using
(2) Cards quantity (min 40 - max 60) -- Your deck must be at lest 40 cards (1 hero and 39 others) and no more than 60 cards (1 hero and 59 others)
(3) Rare quantity (max 15) -- No more than 15 total rare cards in your deck
(4) Unique quantity (max 3) -- No more than 3 total uniques cards in your deck
(5) Limit by card family (3 max) -- No more than 3 of any one card name in your deck regardless of rarity. For example, if you have a unique Anansi, you can't have more than 2 rare and/or common Anansi cards in your deck.

> What is Global Validity?

This simply means "Is the deck legal or not?" If your global Validity is "not legal!" Then you need to look at the other rules below to see which rule/rules your deck is breaking. Then you can go find the cards which are braking the rule and fix it.

Tip: if you click the part that says "not legal!" It will tell you which conditions aren't presently met. I'm unsure if suspended cards from the newest news post are up to date with the deck builder legality, but if you're playing a suspended card that might also be an issue.

Did you get the Lyra starter deck? In general you will need to scan any cards you're using digitally.
