Come one, come all to the 2025 US Open! We will be changing locations this year... The National Museum of the Marine Corps will be hosting us as they celebrate the 250th year of the US Marine Corps. The dates will be June 20-22, 2025.
All tournament scenarios will be from the Pacific Theater, as we follow the Marines through the island hopping campaign they are known for.
You do not have to be a Memoir '44 veteran to play! As long as you have a knowledge of the base game rules (and a familiarity with the Pacific Theater) you will be able to play. All special rules and abilities will be briefed before each scenario. You will mostly be paired with players of similar ability (or luck), so fun will be had by all!
The museum is located just south of Washington DC, and near Quantico, VA. Admission to the museum and parking are free.
The cost of registration will be $70. Included with registration will be a copy of all scenario maps, plus a booklet with the scenario briefings. The tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday (June 21-22). Friday the 20th we will play Overlord and Overthrough scenarios (combination of Overlord and Breakthrough) from Guadalcanal for anyone interested in an extra day of games! This is also included in registration.
Registration will have an option for a catered lunch (sandwiches, chips, water) for about $15 per person, per day. (Still working on details on this, so it could fluctuate slightly.)
