Revolution tapestry card on middle island do not trigger achievements

Hey
we just had a bug my opponent and me agreed about.
I played the revolution tapestry card to get my outpost back up and push his own down. So I then had control of the middle didn't get the middle achievement and then also in my case chosen one.
Anyone had the situation of revolution in middle before? did it work neither?

p.s.: even worse exactly 5 points was the difference i lost in the end (with chosen ability win )

I didn’t watch the whole game play, but enough to see who conquered the middle first; your opponent did. I’m assuming after you TRIED to conquer the middle but he played a trap and later you used revolution to flip the down post. The wording for the achievement is “CONQUER the middle island”, you never conquered it, you overtook it. The other achievement is “down two opponent outpost” which is possible without conquering. So, unfortunately, not a big. Good game though.

the rulebook is sadly written extremly short, it doesnt explain what conquering means.
is it:
-place an outpost
-place an outpost via military track
-place an outpost which is not trapped
-have an outpost placed and then stood up
....

i get what you say could be intended that way, though sadly in typical stegmaier fassion, having good gaming ideas but srewing up in game development focus (balance, playtesting, rulebook, clarifications, glossary...) still like it though but with little effort could be much better

Conquer action is the action which let you place your outpost and throw conquer dices. You never throw conquer dice when using Revolution and you even not placing outposts through this tapestry card, therefore revolution cannot be counted after middle island achievement.

Revolution DOES NOT perform the Conquer action, but a Topple one. This sounds wonky, but there is a clearly an intent behind differentiating between Conquer and Topple (as can be seen in the race for achievements: Topple 2 Towers, and Conquer Middle Island).
