I feel like I'm going crazy, but I really need to know if my deck building is just horrible or if BGA's auto-shuffler is just messed up.
Over the last few months, I've played a TON of games on BGA, some of them go well, but most of the games I have some really weird experiences with my draws. For example, last week I played about a little over 10 games over the course of 2 days, and over those games, there are some cards, like Kelon Burst, which I run 3 of, that I didn't see for 5 consecutive games in a row, not a single copy.
Then, during that same span, I had 2 games in a row where I drew all 3 Sticky Note Seals in the first turn, which I wasn't sure was possible. So I took a bit of a break, and then today I played 3 games, and in all 3 games I did not see a single Sticky Note Seal. I just think that, even when I draw these cards when I don't need them or don't have them when I DO need them, it's just really odd to be happening this often. I'm just astounded how I can go so long without seeing any copies of one of the cards in my deck, and others I draw all 3 at once. I understand that games like this have variance, but for it to be happening in back-to-back games over the course of multiple days seems beyond variance.
This can't just be me, right? If I'm crazy let me know, but if anyone else has similar issues I would love to hear them, because it's gotten to the point where BGA is no longer a good indicator for me if my decks are good or not. These are all decks I compete with and get top placements at my local game stores, so I'm not sure how these decks do so well at these events and not on BGA.
