"3 cards" option does not work?

Is it a bug or is there a specific way in which you can play 3 cards of the same type? It only allows me to select a pair. Third card is then blacked out.

You need to enable the "Special Combos" table option.

"TWO OF A KIND: You can play two of the same type of cards to steal a random card from one of your opponents. THREE OF A KIND: Exactly the same as Two of a Kind, but you get to name the card you want from the other player. If they have it, you get to take it. If not, you get nothing."

The wording on the option could have been a bit different then.

When you toggle the option on, the two of a kind and a three if a kind is explained, but when you toggle it off, no message is there.

On my first game i assumed that also two of a kind was not possible as i tought this was also a special combination.
But two of a kind is possible, when special combinations is toggled off.

When Special Combos is enabled you can play two of a kind and three of a kind with all card types.

When disabled you can only play a pair of cat cards (melon, beard, etc.).
