I was playing with white pieces. can someone explain why i did not win? why the result is a tie?

opponent cant move =tie

I may add the technical term for this situation: stalemate (with the result "draw", according to the chess rules)

maybe i should read technical rules properly if there are more hidden loopholes like this

No, it's like you purposefully hit the net on your serve. Replay the point.

There are games where you win if the opponent cannot move. There are (I guess) games where you lose if the opponent cannot move. There are games where the game ends when one player cannot move and victory is determined by some other means. In chess, it's just a tie if a player cannot move. If you could have created a checkmate instead, then it was your mistake.

"en passant" is another rule which is not so commonly known:
If a player moves a pawn two spaces (only from the initial position like e7 to e5 with Black), then the opponent can capture this pawn with one of his pawns as if it only had gone one step. In this example (e7-e5) this would be the case with a white pawn on d5 or f5: White moves this pawn to e6 and takes away the black pawn! But White must do it with the directly following move (not later!), if he doesn´t the game continues as normal (and this opportunity is over).

Apart from opponent conceding the game or going over time (which can happen in any game in BGA), there is only one way to win a game of chess, and that is making a checkmate, which you didn't.
