Hi, my partner and I often play together on separate devices at the same IP address, and we frequently have a problem where the site runs extremely slowly on one device while the other is running the site at normal speed. We have plenty of bandwidth, so that's not the issue. If we both play on our phones, usually everything runs fine. If I play on my laptop and he plays on his phone, the site will sometimes be so slow that it is unusable on my laptop. If we both play on laptops, mine is usually fine, but his is often extremely slow. I would have thought it's random, but this repeats often enough that it's a clear pattern.
Can anyone suggest why this is happening? Is there some kind of penalty for us being at the same IP? Is there possibly a problem running on a Mac, or certain browsers? Chrome seemed a bit better than Firefox the last time this happened, but usually I play on Firefox without problems. We wondered at first if it was because my account is premium and his is free, but then when it was my laptop running too slow, we gave up on that idea.
