Help with understanding score in Level 3

Both of the players scored 6 times. Both players had 0 tokens left in their player mat. Opponent bunnyluv finished first and I scored the 6th token on the final turn. The only difference I can see is that bunnyluv had scored tokens next to each other on the player mat. Is that the 3 point difference? I expected a tie.

Bunnyluv had 6 in a row, which counts for 8 and 3, although the rule is not explicit. You had 5 and 1, which counts for 8.
