Oops, don't forfeit too late!

Post by Fruktstund »

Maybe I'm the only one stupid enough to have done this, but still I want to share.

In a match 0-0, the moment I realized I was not gonna be able to avoid losing a gammon, I wanted to acknowledge this so I offered concede gammon.
It was close to the end, and with just a transmission delay - he managed to roll out his last and win the round - beFORE he got my offer - which he accepted. So suddenly I had lost a match 4-0. Just a warning so you don't repeat this...

It was very "snopet" as we say in Swedish

I think this should be preventable by the implementation. To check the timestamps or the gamestate.
Then again, conceding point(s) on the very last move doesn't really shorten the game, you can as well let the opponent finish.

Does this mean the offer to concede 2 points got applied to the second round instead of the first??? Wow, super messed up!

Yes! That's what must have happened. Yeah really messed up
I didn't do it to save time but to acknowledge the gammon. Not recommended...
