Jolly and mice movement

I have some difficulties in using some actions. How do you use the jolly? It never gives me the opportunity to use it and I don't understand why (even when I could use it). Also when I have to move mice it becomes a mess, the eventual second mouse always moves it where it shouldn't. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

In the tutorial it says BGA is picky about the order of clicks when moving rats.

To move two rats from the same area to another it’s click where they both are once, then two clicks to put them somewhere else
