Crafting the Cosmos is a strategic board game where you step into the role of interstellar architects, competing to build a thriving galaxy- one star at a time. Harness the forces of the universe to your advantage, manipulating gravity, time, and cosmic energy to activate powerful abilities. By strategically placing stars and even spawning advanced life, you can maximize your victory points and claim cosmic dominance.
Each round consists of players taking individual turns, followed by a shared end phase. A player’s turn is divided into two key phases: Energy and Craft.
- Energy Phase: Move energy tokens across the main board to control different cosmic forces and gain essential resources.
- Resource Collection: Gather resources from your active control space, as well as all four passive control spaces.
- Craft Phase: Spend resources to shape your galaxy by taking a variety of actions in any order, including:
- Placing stars such as hydrogen (H), helium (He), carbon (C), and oxygen (O)
- Creating proto-life and nebulae
- Using energy cards to activate special abilities
- Completing universal goals to gain an edge over competitors
Strategic use of energy cards allows players to acquire power cards, unlocking new ways to build and optimize their cosmic creations. Carefully manage your resources and outmaneuver your rivals to craft the most impressive galaxy and claim victory in Crafting the Cosmos!
