The highest ranking people are no longer there?

Is it true that people who are high in the All-time rank but not the Current Session rank are fleeing because they are worried about losing their ELO?

Is there any reason for it to be true? I could think of several other reasons someone could be high ranked in one but not the other.

From the top 5, 3 of them have played at least a game in the last day, and 1 has played in the last week. Please define "no longer there".

Thanks Jellby, that's exactly my point, three of the top 5 aren't even in the top 100 of Current-session...

Because they don't play Arena? Maybe they're not interested in the competition, or they don't like the current season's settings (number of players), or they prefer to choose their opponents (play with friends/people they know, or based on their elo, not necessarily for cheating), or they want to play real-time and they find no match...

Alternatively, they may appear on a different account, thereby ensuring that the ELO of their original account remains unaffected, even in the event of a loss.
