Platform for top players?

Post by jjthejetplane246 »

How are the top players playing? Do you play on computer with a mouse or on phone/tablet? Or some other way? I'd image the latter is faster but maybe i'm missing something.

I think the best would be a tablet because i find it easier and quicker to play by clicking with my finger (like the phone) but with a screen wider than the phone that would help to reduce misplacement i think.
I dont know what the others think of it of course 😉

(as long as I don't have consistently above 750 or at very least 700 I dont consider myself a top player but)

what I remember Eauxs, farliaa and legrandc play with phone and two fingers.
Personally I have a notebook with touchscreen and only use one finger (so far, might switch to two for easy and perhaps normal level)

I play on my phone. I used to sometimes play on my computer, but I was much slower using my mouse. Being able to tap directly is a big help.

I usually have my right index finger (I'm right-handed) and left thumb out at the same time, but most of the time I'm only using the finger. The thumb just comes into play if I need to do something really fast (like I figured where everything goes and my fingers just need to catch up).

Mistapping is occasionally an issue, but I'm usually precise enough that it's not much of one.

do you think it would be better (personally and overall for most players) if one can drag the pieces?

I play on phone too, but I only ever use my right index finger. I suppose I might be marginally faster using my left thumb if I got used to it but I feel I'm optimal the way I play now.

It would make me more inclined to play on computer+mouse, but not sure if it would be faster than on phone. Would be interesting to see.

Personally I can't imagine ever using that feature (if it REPLACED the current system that would be a total disaster for me). Can't really speak for anybody else in the community.

The first version of this game was in drag and drop.

But bga don't allow this in their recommandations so I switch to the actual system.
