Cannot start realtime game for Sky Team

Hi,
I recently wanted to create a realtime scenario to play with a friend, but every time I wanted to invite him to the game, I got the message "The game can only be played in real time."
The message even popped up some time when I changed it to a normal scenario.
Is there something I missed? Are there any settings we both need to set before we can play realtime scenarios?
