Over on the Azul discord channel we have been discussing introducing our fellow Azul players to some other games we think they'll enjoy. To this ends we are putting together a series of events called "Azul does..."
"Azul does..." runs semi-regular tournaments that aims to introduce Azul fans to some new, light weight games, that are easy to learn, fast to play and that we hope they'll enjoy and won't keep them distracted from Azul for too long. Whilst doing so, we also hope to grow interest in these games by leveraging the large Azul community to broaden the player base of the chosen game and provide fresh new challenges for current fans of that game.
Each tournament will begin with nominations for the game to play (games must be short and easy to learn), players can state why they're nominating the game. After 4 days, there will be a vote and after the vote completes a KO tournament will be set up a week later.
If you'd like to take part please join us in this BGA group: https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=18157000
