Top 10 but no badge?

Hi! I’m now the 10th ranked player on Yahtzee, with a rating over 400, but I haven’t been given the top 10 achievement badge. I was actually 9th yesterday, but nothing has been awarded. I can’t figure it out. Anyone have any idea?

There was a similar topic in the main forum many weeks (months?) ago (this wouldn't be specific to Yahtzee as BGA gives out the badges, not the individual games), so you might want to search there.

If my memory serves, you only get awarded badges after a game is finished. So if you finished a game and were 11th. Then other people lost ELO which elevated you to 10th or better, that won't trigger the badge. You have to play another game, then when it ends, it will check to see if you qualify for any new badges.

Again, though, I'm not 100% sure this is accurate, but that's my memory of the main forum discussion about badges triggering.

That matches my experience on a different game. I got to #1 from #2 by another player losing, but had to play a Friendly live match in order to get a completed match and claim the #1 achievement/badge.
