Does anyone have any advice about how to beat scenario #7? I am never able to simultaneously create a singular color room that is a full 20 tiles. Is there some placing pattern that works out better, or can you have two separate rooms, one for each objective?

Succeeded once, but with Minotaur in-between
Succeeded in the end, green, with last tile.

I succeeded a few times and found a few things that might help you.

-Choose your color early and stick to it.
-Not every turn will you be adding more of your chosen color. Use those turns to extend your board. Or, when your almost finished, use those turns to seal holes
-Mostly work on the 20 of a color objective until you have at least 14-16 of the color
-Try to extend past your chosen color, so you can add cards without covering the ones that you need
