Galactic Era is an epic space empire builder with a focus on exploration, expansion and combat.

The most innovative feature of the game is that you can choose to play your faction on the “dark” or the “light” side with the appropriate consequences. You can switch your alignment during the game though, too!

They are 17 different alien factions (star peoples) to play, each with a dark and a light side, often giving very different abilities.

The amount of luck involved in this game is very low. Combat is deterministic with hidden information (no dice are used).

Best I can tell, (assuming that your own score of 130 doesn't count) my score of 125 is the highest score on standard difficulty. Is that correct?

For those of you waiting on Twilight Imperium, you should definitely give this game a shot. It's very good and is criminally under played at the moment.
