I don’t understand why they haven’t added it yet. The deer are what make forest shuffle unbalanced. And even with the first 2 expansions the deer are still too unbalanced. However if you play with all 3 expansions, the game is almost balanced out. The additional promos are mostly more useful towards the other strategies, and the fact that it does add some new cards means that it will help decrease the deer a little bit more with all 3 expansions, plus the caves do add a little more scoring. And then because your opponent almost always goes deer route, sometimes you wish you could instead play it solo online instead. The solo variant is a must have. Because they still haven’t added the exploration expansion, I almost refuse to play original forest shuffle online, I’m deadly tired of losing by 100 to 200 points because my opponent just wants to win and plays only deer, butterflies, wolves and whatever they can cheaply play below a tree, oh yeah three steal all the beech martins too, especially when I’m wanting to play the beech Martin for the paw strategy so I can get my golden eagle and stag beetle more points.
Now I’ve almost completely moved over to dartmoor online. I’ll play forest shuffle online like 3 times a month and dartmoor online like 10 times a month.
Why can’t you add the promo cards? There in an expansion. Anyone can purchase them, because there in the expansion.
If you can’t add them, can’t you at least limit the amount of deer cards that get randomly put in each game, in the lower player count games. I’m tired of being forced to play deer just to have a chance of winning. I’m sick of my 99 percent of my opponents who just want to win at all costs, who ignore 75 percent of the cards in the game. I’m sick of losing by 200 points because I wanted to play a separate strategy excluding deer. It’s not much of a game when you are forced to play the same exact cards.
