I would like to mention a few things:
- When we look at our own games we cannot filter by first edition or 2019 edition, and more importantly, we cannot filter by number of players (2,3 or 4) either. This is a problem because statistics should be separated between each types of games. we cannot make use of statistics if they are completely amalgamed together across different format. For instance if you want to compare your statistics with a better player to understand their gameplay and what you could improve, you cannot because each format is very different.
Also it would be VERY NICE if we could filter by MAP, to see which map we have the best results on and which map we suck the most on, and compare with average player score on those map to see if we can genuinly improve at playing those map or if the map suck and there is nothing worth it to learn there.
Trying to make an excel file and do the statistics ourselves is a pain in the ass and nobody want to loose their time on that when it could easily be one of the best tool to improve at the game if it was correctly done on BGA for everybody and not just a few nerd !
I think that some of those changes should definitly be added on BGA, it should not be that complicated, tell me what you think ??!!
Now about competitive mode, I'm not gonna lie I'm not really an arena player so I don't really care about the seasonal ranking, but what I do care about on the other hand is the elo and also the highest score for each types of games (1st edition, 2019 edition, 2 3 and 4 players).
Right now tell me if I'm wrong but there is no way to know what are the other top players's best score on each map for a set number of players.
I think knowing what the best score are on each map could give some incentive to people to try to beat those record, and even for casual players who are not likely to ever come close to those score, it could still motivate them because they could see the potential room for improvement they have at this game and they might want to get even better at it...
That's why I will create a seperate post where every players could send on the comment their best score for each format with the link of their game, what do you think ? we could keep that post updated to keep track about the latest record !
