How to learn playing with upgrades?

I have played some basic Heat games (without upgrades) and I am ready to try playing with upgrades now, also because I want to play Arena games and Tournaments. But how can I learn to play with the many upgrades of Heat? As far as I could find there is only one tutorial, about the basic game. My idea was to add upgrades one by one, starting with the weather and track condition tiles. But as a standard (non-premium) user I have not been able to find a game with only these tiles added after a few hours searching and I can't open a new table myself. Does anyone have advice about learning how to play Heat with upgrades?

Hey! In my opinion as long as you know what all of the symbols actually do (see last page of the rulebook: https://cdn.1j1ju.com/medias/be/1e/95-h ... system.pdf) then the best way for you to learn is to just play games with the upgrades and you will figure them out as you see them in action

If you do want to gradually add upgrades though, there are 2 tiers of upgrades, "basic" and "advanced" and also new upgrades added in the "Heavy rain" expansion. First search for games with the "Basic" garage upgrades only, which will have the label "[Garage: basic]", these are the simplest to use. Then once you're comfortable with those you can search for games which also have the ((Heavy Rain)) label, to lean the basic upgrades from the expansion. Then after that just play Arena if you want all upgrades, or look for games with [Garage: Advanced] to only play with the advanced upgrades so you can learn those quicker
