Undo a "skip a player's turn"

Post by mspider_89 »

Is it possible to undo the skipping of a player's turn on a table?
I did it by accident in a friendly tournament and am fishing for info to see the possibility to go back in time ^^'

For reference, the game is Dice Hospital (2p game, table #679459008)

There's no mechanism I'm aware of for undoing skipping someone's turn or other game status changes (conceding, quitting, agreeing to end a game, etc.)

I believe that's why there's a "are you sure?" dialog that comes up when you click the skip button. It shouldn't be possible to do it completely by accident, maybe if you thought you were in a different game, but you should always double-check everything if you choose to go ahead with a skip (imo).

My issue was that I was on my cellphone. I don't know why, but the interface for DH got smaller on cellphone recently. I thought I was skipping the table (to come back later), and because the letter were so small, so I confirmed without reading it properly

That's wack.

It should require TRIPLE confirmation to skip a player's turn.

Why stop at three?

Alternatively, maybe at some point we should be expected to take responsibility for clicking and just be more careful.

Totally. This was my mistake and I told the player that. My last resort was just asking around to fish if there could be a solution

I think you missed the irony in Frank's post.

I reckon you're right. Definitely a wooosh moment for me. Oops!

And, yes, I recognize the OP was merely asking if it was possible to wind this back, not complaining that it needed to be fixed. It's a reasonable question, but it's not really possible.
