Can someone explain how I use a stored item?

I have stored one of the yellow-ish head symbols on a Loremaster card from a previous turn. This turn I have 2 apples and one more of those head symbols. I want to buy a card that costs 2 apples and 2 heads, but I can't figure out how to tell the game to spend the stored item.

Any hints from experienced players or the devs?

You should click on your Loremaster card in order to recover your ressource! ;)
