Board Game Arena

I have stored one of the yellow-ish head symbols on a Loremaster card from a previous turn. This turn I have 2 apples and one more of those head symbols. I want to buy a card that costs 2 apples and 2 heads, but I can't figure out how to tell the game to spend the stored item.

Any hints from experienced players or the devs?
