Why Friend list is not in alphabetical order?

Why Friend list is not in alphabetical order? If I would know my friend's nickname, I could easily find him/her. I didn't know it so it made no difference but ... WHY, oh WHY, it's not in alphabetical order? Is it in some order? I think it might be in most-recently-played-with-this-person -order but not sure. Pls give us a way to find that friend I want to spy their stats on!

Looks like it's recency on site. So currently online users are at the top, followed by who most recently left, etc.
