Hey everyone,
I want to inform you all that Week 10 will be the final week of the current AQZ Championship Series season. After that, the series will end and will not be continued for the time being.
With this step, the NUC will remain aswell the AQZ HGA Rapid-Fire Series tournament the only active tournament format connected to AQZ.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. My team and I have spent a huge amount of time and energy on this project—driven by passion and commitment, not by expectations of compensation or special treatment.
But after long reflection and many discussions, I’ve come to the conclusion that continuing as a tournament organizer under current conditions is no longer sustainable for us.
The core issue is not a lack of resources or recognition—it’s the ongoing imbalance in communication and outreach across different regions and organizers. Some receive regular responses, proactive support, and visibility. Others, despite proven efforts, are left waiting, overlooked, or not acknowledged at all.
This isn’t about being bitter—it’s about fairness, sustainability, and respect for the time and energy people put into this game. The way things are currently structured, we simply don’t feel like our work is valued in the way it needs to be for us to continue.
We’ll still be around as players—and I might even stream some games or share more about my player experience, though I haven’t fully decided on that yet.
A final update will follow at the end of the season to offer more context and transparency about this decision.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our events—whether by playing, helping organize, or simply showing up. You’ve helped build something we’re really proud of.
With appreciation,
Paandyaandy & Team
