Invited users to prívate tournaments

Hi !

Recently I created a tournament, a private one limited to a specific group. I shared the link to allow users to join, but I saw that some (four users in total) were added as ‘invited’ automatically, without any action from my side. These users weren’t included , unless they confirmed the invitation.

Do you know why they appeared as ‘invited’ if I didn’t make the direct invitation? In fact only four were at that status , meanwhile the group to which the tournament was limited is bigger.

EDIT: To add more info, initially only two were put as invited, the day after a new one was added, and later another one. So, they weren’t added all at the same time. We don’t know what triggers the invitation.

As I have an answer from BGA team (thanks Emma !) by email, I copy it here, maybe in the future someone will ask the same question:

These are players who view the Tournament based on your invitation link but choose not to register.

Remember that it’s related to users shown as ‘invited’, but not registered, in prívate tournaments.
