MY SHELFIE: The dice game!

Post by DrClick »

A charming mix of quick decision-making, tactical blocking, and just a touch of friendly competition.

Your bookshelf is already a delightful display: plants, books, board games, trophies… and of course, adorable cats! But in this fast-paced challenge, it is not enough to have them arranged, you need to find and place them before your opponents do.
In My Shelfie: The Dice Game, you will roll dice to create item combinations that fill the spaces on your personal bookshelf. Complete a shelf or column, and you will lock it out for everyone else, denying them precious points.

But beware! only sections with at least three spaces filled will count toward your final score!

Will you be the player who methodically completes columns, or will you rush to secure shelves before anyone else can? Will your strategy be all about greenery, or will it be ruled by furry friends? Every choice matters, every roll counts, and every space on your bookshelf could be the one that wins you the game.

Grab your dice, teach yourself the game by going through the tutorial, and get ready; your perfect shelf awaits!

Rule about completing a row or column is different than official rules in printed version. On BGA an oponent in such case needs to X only completed column, in printed version it is both column and row. Why is that change?

I don't see any change regarding full colums/rows.

Even in your match:

your opponent had to X the bottom row after you completed it with move 47.

Do you have an example where you observed the rule not being in place?

I've played this 10 times now.
The game play is good enough and it's pleasantly swift.

Wouldn't it be better with synchronous play? Much less tedious in multi-player.

Hi, if by synchronous play you mean parallel play (all the player play at the same time the same turn), it cause a problem with full colums/rows rule. Who is the first player that complete a column/row? In parallel play it is the player who play faster and that's not the spirit of the game.
