Not being able to use a cultist for extra health points when at ten health

I've had a couple of games where I'd be able to use a cultist for extra health before being knocked out of a game, but the game doesn't seem to allow it if the health is already at ten health. IS this how the game is supposed to work or is a glitch?

As you can see I was being hit with ten claws and being knocked out of the game. If I was able to use my cultist in that game I'd have one health left and wouldn't have been knocked out of that game on that turn.

Interesting one. The rule with cultists is that you can heal before taking lethal damage, not during or after. So if you had 5 health and a cultist, and took 5 damage, you can heal to 6 and only after that do you take the 5 damage.

In this case you had 10 health, so would have needed to illegally heal to 11 before taking the 10 damage. So I can see why the game won't allow it.

It's the type of one you'd probably allow in a home game. Would be good to see what the publisher's opinion is on this scenario. It's realistic in any game where someone has Antimatter Beam. I'd lean towards it being death, but I can see arguments both ways.

In this case, I think the game is correctly reflecting the rules.
