is this considered acceptable?

Post by richardforbeau »

I was in a game earlier with two players, one who was barely playing all along, collecting resources (mainly plants) and doing nothing else until the last round, the second playing normally. They had very low ELO, but I try not to discriminate so i didn't make it an issue.

The last round starts, and the first player start putting out greeneries all around the second to boost his score. The second justified it saying it was his little brother account (the profile saying he is 30).
There was no IP warning when I joined.

I went to report it for multiaccounting, and the system said "there is no reason to report this behavior, just give it a thumb down".

Is that so? Can a moderator answer me, please?

That cannot possibly be acceptable.

Blatant Kingmaking, with an acknowledgement of it by the player doing it. And, apparently in a collusive manner.

But, I am not 100% sure. I would need to check the BGA code of conduct.

The 3rd player even funded all the awards so their friend would win. Props being so close behind first place against such a blatant 1v2.

I do wonder why these ppl bother to play 3p. Are they just looking for a sucker to swipe ELO off of? Can't they just farm ELO off each other?

All one needs is 100 ELO anyway to unlock Arena mode, which is like 3-4 wins in 2p, unless someone is super desperate to get Masters rank or the top ELO rank badges, which is a huge waste of time considering how high the top ELO scores are.

You save even more time in 2p because you can just SP to 50% and then hit concede.
