Is there a significant first/starting player advantage in the Kokeshi?

Is there a significant first player advantage in the Kokeshi? Seems like a starting player gets quicker to the puppets scoring plaques and leads early.

In my games I didn't feel like it, since you can focus on different tracks from the first player, and even place the starting tiles to avoid being blocked from the opponent's
The main advantage I've found is if there is a double action tile in the first market picks, that really ramps up pretty quickly for whoever gets it since it's much more likely to step on it on early tracks
