Purchasing ability not correct

Hello!
I noticed a 'mistake' in my last playthrough. In the rules, you have to have enough "money in your bank" topurchase a room, irregardless of how many coins are on it. The game let me buy a room that was more than I had in the bank, I believe because the room had more coins on it than it's purchase price, but that is against the rules, I believe.

The linked rules say: "If there are coins on a Room, you may pay them to the Master Builder as part (or all) of your payment for the Room". I think that means you don't need to have the full price before getting the coins.
