I got negative points?! Here's why but my score was not correct?

Playing solo, I received negative points on my red fan.

BUT, i don't think the scoring was correct since I had a Courtier in the top (10 points) and a warrior for double points.
That, alone, is worth 30 right? (Courtier 10, 2 x 20 for warrior)
But my total score was 29.

10 points for the courtier in the top
1 point for the courtier at the gate
3 points for warriors (1 courtier in the castle x 3 = 3 points)
3 points for your turn order marker
8 points gained during the game
1 point for leftover food

You might be misunderstanding how the warriors score. You count how many courtiers you have in the castle (meaning you exclude how many you have at the gate), then check your warrior multiplier. You have one warrior in the x2 spot and another in a x1 spot, meaning your multiplier is x3. Since you have one courtier in the castle (the one at the top), that's 1 x 3 = 3 points.
