Endgame statistics not appearing

I've been having an issue for a while on a game I'm developing where the endgame statistics won't appear on the stats page. As far as I can tell, the game is supposed to display the stats so long as they're initialized, but there are still no stats when the game finishes. I've read all the documentation and I can't for the life of me figure this out. If anybody knows what I'm missing, your help would be greatly appreciated. (my game uses stats.json, if that matters)

Did you click "Reload statistics" in the manage game page?

Yup I reloaded the statistics. I can see them in the log when the game ends, but they still aren't showing up on the stats page. Is there a function I need to call for that to update?

If it's working on the game end page, it will work on production too. I'm not sure the crons to compute stats over multiple tables are running on Studio side, so just ignore this.
