In the most recent BGA Release Summary October 10 . . . "improvements made to group lists" . . . it appears that some group lists are now in A-Z order . . . while others continue to be in order according to online status.
It appears to me that which way the members are listed depends on the size of the group.
Smaller groups have their members listed according to online status . . . which means that members who are currently online are listed first and indicated with a green dot . . . then all the rest of the members are listed.
It appears to me that larger groups have their members listed in A-Z order.
I suggest that all groups, no matter the number of members, have members listed according to online status . . . otherwise it takes a lot of back and forth searching over multiple pages to see who in my group is currently online.
