Cards in draw pile

When you run out of cards,due to extra drawing,you don't get to reshuffle your deck. This is a bit tricky.I think the rules don't say you can count the number of cards remaining,but they don't say you can't. I asked on Boardgamegeek whether you could count your draw pile,and got the answer 'sure'.
In the physical game,you would at least know whether you had a card left before attempting to draw,and be able to plan your turn accordingly. You often get to choose whether to visit sites that draw you cards. So in order to mimic the physical game,I think you should at least get some indication of whether your draw pile is exhausted ?

You do, the number of cards in your draw pile is shown on the left hand side of your player board where you keep the deck in the physical version. If it is one or more you also see a card back there.

Thanks - sorry,do you mean where it says layout ? There are some images of the backs of cards,but no indication of which pile they belong to.

That is your draw pile. there's not really a traditional discard displayed, just cards you've used this round in a "played" area under your board.

general rule of thumb... discards are usually face up, draw is usually face down.

Thanks,sorry,I pay on a PC. My hand is displayed top-left,underneath that is the rectangular box with my assistants and spaces for idols.Underneath that are my discards - that part is easy.Top-right is the player-box with my name in it.Next line down from my name are my remaining resources.Below that is idols,slots and guardians vanquished.Below that is a number followed by a hand holding cards,which must be the number of cards in my hand.
Below that is the word 'Layout',followed by an image of two cards in an oval space with a white background,followed by an image of one card in an oval space with a white background. So how many cards are left in my draw pile - one,two or three ?

Thanks,but playing on my laptop,yes,the big rectangular block is located middle-left of screen,but beneath that are my discards,not my draw pile.
