When you run out of cards,due to extra drawing,you don't get to reshuffle your deck. This is a bit tricky.I think the rules don't say you can count the number of cards remaining,but they don't say you can't. I asked on Boardgamegeek whether you could count your draw pile,and got the answer 'sure'.
In the physical game,you would at least know whether you had a card left before attempting to draw,and be able to plan your turn accordingly. You often get to choose whether to visit sites that draw you cards. So in order to mimic the physical game,I think you should at least get some indication of whether your draw pile is exhausted ?
