Seasons - staff of winter

When i use Staff of Winter i only can discard magic item from my hand, its a bug? I cant discard cards from table...

Hi there,

"Discard" always refers to cards in your hand. If it was from the table, it would be saying "sacrifice".
So, as far as I am aware, this is not a bug.
