How do I "technicaly" accept to loose instead of quiting because of "my" i.a dice are simply unrealisticly bad !!!

Post by cetrod »

hello,

I'm so angry after the IA in memoir 44 : how can my dice results beeing so completely out of accuracy when those of my opponent are not ? -At-all
It's staticticaly impossible to get such results !!! how can I get no single grenade in 15 dice !!!
Even the cards are not moderate from one round to the other when changing side...
I'm so pissed of...
It's disgut me to play, because it's not a game, it's not fun, it's not fare, it's an agony until the end two third of my games

HOW DO I ACCEPT TO LOOSE ? WHERE IS THE BOUTTON to leave and concede please ? WITHOUT QUITING AND TAKE KARMA LOOSING POINTS ?

YOUR IA IS SO "CHEATING" AND THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT ANYONE FROM THE SITE TO TALK APART FROM HERE ? A tuto maybe ?

IT's NOT EVEN LIKE TRYING TO WIN BINGO... IT'S WORSE...

The game is great, people are great (most of the time), but it's just impossible to have fun, just to "play" for the pleasure to play

And I'm not talking about 5 or 10 times, my stats are just horrible on the average probality of getting 1/2 or 1/3 or 1/6 of the results : I'm playing a game with 6 sides dice, not a casino 36 roulette's !!!

How do i quit a quit a game conseding defeat withoutt having to watch until the end your ia destroying any kind of joy I might have to play again !!!!!!

cheers

It's "lose" not "loose"

Here's an analysis of half a million dice generated by BGA:

The dice are weighted exactly as expected. Sorry about your bad luck, statistically improbable as it may seem.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer & your empathy.
I know : "* happens"

I'm not looking for an rationalising attitude towars the odds, I'm looking for a technical assistance.

My question is , even if I'm a dummy or blind = where is the concede "button" : I can"t find the concede action in the "menu" (bga icon if I'm right).
When the game is definitely lost in the 2nd round, how can I leave the game by accepting the defeat and not just "quit" the game with a karma penalty.

I'm not here to watch myself tortured to the extremity when the show is over...

How can I technically concede defeat.

Cheers

*Moderator edit: please refrain from swearing on BGA, this is a family-friendly platform.

You cannot concede a game until it reaches 50% progression. Some games do not even track that progression. I'm not sure if M44 is one of them.

If the option is available, you find it by opening the upper right "hamburger menu" (the icon that looks like 3 horizontally stacked lines) during a game, and there will be an option to "Concede."

Hi,

Thank you for the process. I will look for it.

ps: Yes in memoir 44, in the second round when you exhange sides, you're over the 50%.

Such a good place...

If "internal issue" was supposed to be "internet issue," then there was a banner stating:
Our service is facing a major issue right now.
Note: all reputation penalties received for leaving games will be cancelled.
As for your issue with moderation for something you said, you can challenge it in the manner they tell you, but don't complain about it in the forums. It says at the top, even while you're composing a post:

So now your conceding problem is solved, let’s talk about the dice in Memoir’44 on BGA.

I find that they do not differ from playing Memoir’44 in real life. This based on some experience playing Memoir’44 in real life and on different digital platforms.

If you are expecting a grenade to turn up every sixth die, that simply is not going to happen. Also the chances of 1/2 1/3 1/6 you name are only a guidance in your decisions. The dice only behave statistically over very large numbers of them thrown.

Memoir’44 is not usually won on the dice throws but on how you play the game tactically and strategically.
Granted the luck does play a role in Memoir’44.

In the Memoir’44 community we estimate it’s about 25% luck and 75% skill.
