deck composition

I just recently started playing this game and was wondering if anyone can tell me how the deck is composed? I"m wanting to know how many cards of each colour there are or if certain numbers are always a specific colour. Trying to be a little more strategic.

The total number of cards varies by player count and short/long game. However, the cards cycle through six colours in sequence. So, for example, 1, 7, 13, 19, 25,... are all the same colour (yellow), as are 2, 8, 14, 20,... (red) and so on.
